Say What?
Oliver Reads Original Poetry at Chatter
SANTA FE, NM: Chatter North, the wonderful Saturday morning chamber music series at CCA, includes a spoken word segment in the middle of the program. This time around, Oliver will be reading original poetry.
We’re not sure yet whether it will be “Something Furry This Way Comes,” “Rabbit of My Dreams,” or some other cheerful canine classics inspired by Alex, a very talented Border-Aussie mix. Whatever the selection, we hope you’ll like them. You might even hear one of Oliver’s poems that strays from the theme of dogs…
Along with the price of admission, you’ll also hear a great piano recital by Christopher O’Riley, former host of the NPR radio show From the Top. Music in various genres by Bach, Sondheim, Strayhorn, Scott, Yorke, and Arlen.
Tickets are $5–17 in advance online, or $20 at the door.
