Opus OP 3rd Anniversary Celebration!

Discovering the Music of César Franck

Featuring Carmelo de los Santos, violin, Natasha Stojanovska, piano,
and Oliver Prezant, conductor and arts educator

ALBUQUERQUE, NM: Come celebrate three years of Opus OP music, art, and poetry programs with a FREE, in-depth, interactive exploration of the first two movements of César Franck’s fabulously French, passionately romantic Violin Sonata in A Major!

Learn how composers work with musical ideas, how musicians work together to create meaning and connect to the audience, and discover your own feelings about the music as you learn to listen from the inside out and share your impressions with others.

The 90-minute program features violinist Cármelo de los Santos, a faculty member at UNM and the concertmaster of the New Mexico Philharmonic; pianist and composer Natasha Stojanovska, who has been featured on KHFM’s Ten at Ten series; and conductor and arts educator Oliver Prezant, who will facilitate this interactive exploration.
